Ford has unveiled a comprehensive update for the Mustang Mach-E, reinforcing its position in the electric SUV segment with improvements in range, technology and customization. The highlight of this update is the introduction of the new Mach-E GT California Special, a version that blends heritage-inspired design with a modern electric performance approach.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Inspired by the iconic 1968 Mustang California Special, this new variant aims to bring the spirit of the American west coast into the electric era. The connection to the original model goes beyond symbolism, with several design elements reinforcing its identity within the Mustang family.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

On the exterior, the GT California Special stands out with unique features such as 20-inch Carbonised Grey wheels, Rave Blue accents and a distinctive hood stripe carrying the California Special name. This graphic element, inspired by the Californian sunset, enhances the emotional appeal of the model, combining heritage with modern styling.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Inside, the cabin follows the same distinctive approach. Sport seats trimmed in Navy Pier ActiveX and Miko materials, featuring blue and silver reflective details, are complemented by a center console and steering wheel finished in navy tones. Beyond aesthetics, the ActiveX material offers practical advantages, including increased durability and easier maintenance compared to traditional leather.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Improved range and technology across the lineup<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Beyond the new variant, Ford has introduced significant updates across the entire Mustang Mach-E range. In the Premium Extended Range versions, the adoption of lower rolling resistance tires has increased driving range to up to 555 km for AWD models and 615 km for RWD versions, representing tangible gains over previous specifications.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In terms of safety and driver assistance, the Clear Exit Assist system is now included as standard within the ADAS package. The technological package also includes features such as intelligent adaptive cruise control, pre-collision assist, blind spot monitoring with cross-traffic alert, and evasive steering assist.
