The latest GTE race at Daytona International Speedway delivered a challenging and unpredictable experience. With track temperatures reaching 37\u00b0C and high humidity levels, grip was limited from the very beginning, forcing drivers to constantly adapt.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The difficulty was further increased by the most recent update to the simulator. The new tire model introduced a higher level of sensitivity, particularly under braking. Rear-end instability became a defining factor, requiring a more precise and controlled driving approach.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It quickly became clear that this race would not be decided by outright speed. Multiple drivers struggled to keep their cars under control, with frequent mistakes and off-track moments, especially in heavy braking zones like the end of the main straight.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Starting from P4 after a strong qualifying performance, the race initially showed promise. However, an early mistake on lap one resulted in a significant loss of positions, turning the remainder of the race into a recovery drive.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Over the course of the 45-minute race, consistency proved to be the most important factor. Rather than pushing constantly, drivers needed to manage pace, understand the car\u2019s behavior and take advantage of opportunities when they arose.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
