Since this remains an extremely popular class in the simulator, efforts were made to review various aspects of all cars to provide more realistic behavior. The updates apply to all five GTE cars: BMW M8, Chevrolet Corvette C8.R, Ferrari 488, Ford GT, and Porsche 911 RSR.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The physics and tires for these cars have been revised. There was a complete overhaul of the dry tire compounds and construction, now featuring more realistic deflection and greater sensitivity to the grip limit. There was also an adjustment to the Balance of Performance (BoP) to compensate for changes in aerodynamic ride height and '<em>rake<\/em>\u2018.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Mechanical aspects were also addressed, with significant adjustments to the gearboxes, optimizing 1st through 6th gears for better alignment with each car\u2019s torque curve. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Garage page has been redesigned and is now simpler and more intuitive, making car adjustments easier. Tuning is now faster and more user-friendly, with ride height being adjusted directly and automatically recalculated by the simulator, without the need to tweak spring perches or torsion bars.<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Os carros da classe GTE foram alvo de maior aten\u00e7\u00e3o por parte do iRacing para esta nova temporada.
