HRT Ford Racing will field a refreshed line-up for the 2026 DTM season, combining the experience of Arjun Maini with the debut of rising talent Finn Wiebelhaus behind the wheel of the Ford Mustang GT3 Evo.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The 19-year-old German secured his promotion after winning the junior title in the 2025 ADAC GT Masters, a campaign run together with HRT Ford Racing. That success also earned him victory in the Road to DTM programme, paving the way to one of the most competitive touring car series in the world.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A product of the ADAC development ladder, Wiebelhaus progressed from karting through Formula 4 to GT racing, and now reaches the DTM as one of the most promising young drivers in the field.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cThis is a dream come true. Racing in the DTM has always been my goal, and now I get to do it with HRT Ford Racing\u201d<\/strong>, said the young driver, who is also part of Ford\u2019s development programme. \u201cAfter winning the GT Masters, this step feels like a reward for all the hard work.\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

On the other side of the garage, Arjun Maini enters his sixth DTM season and second as an official Ford driver. The 28-year-old Indian has already secured three podium finishes and one pole position, and believes the team\u2019s progress last season provides a strong foundation for 2026.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cWe learned a lot last year and showed clear improvement. That gives us confidence to fight for podiums and wins this season\u201d<\/strong>, Maini said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

HRT Ford Racing will compete with two Mustang GT3 Evo cars, an upgraded version featuring improvements including a revised aerodynamic package. The team expects these updates to enhance overall competitiveness throughout the championship.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

HRT Managing Director Ulrich Fritz highlighted the importance of combining continuity and fresh talent. \u201cArjun brings valuable DTM experience, while Finn has shown great potential. We are confident we can achieve strong results together\u201d<\/strong>, he said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
