
Caterham is set to make a bold statement on one of motorsport’s most high-profile stages with the unveiling of the new Seven Miami Special Edition. Limited to just 12 units, this exclusive model blends British engineering tradition with the vibrant automotive culture of Miami, creating a true collector’s piece.
Based on the Seven R, this special edition immediately stands out with its striking design. Finished in bespoke Aqua paint, combined with vibrant pink and white decals, the car pays tribute to Miami’s unique visual identity. The design is completed with the “Miami” script and the circuit silhouette featured on the rear, reinforcing its direct connection to the race weekend.
Inside, exclusivity takes center stage. Each car features embroidered Miami branding on the headrests and an individually numbered plaque on the dashboard. In true Caterham fashion, craftsmanship is key: a second plaque in the engine bay carries the names and signatures of the two technicians who hand-built the car in the UK, highlighting the artisanal nature of each unit.

Despite its vibrant aesthetics, the Seven Miami Special Edition stays true to Caterham’s purist DNA. Under the hood lies a naturally aspirated 2.0-litre Ford Duratec engine producing 210 bhp at 7,600 rpm. With a weight of just 560 kg, the result is an impressive power-to-weight ratio of 375 bhp per tonne, enabling a 0–60 mph sprint in just 3.8 seconds.
Paired with a five-speed manual gearbox, this track-only model is built for driving purity. Features such as track suspension, ventilated discs with quad-piston calipers, and a dedicated roll cage underline its serious performance credentials beneath the bold design.
