The 2026 Season 2 of the iRacing simulator is now available. Among the new features are two cars and a track arriving on the platform, along with a completely re-scanned circuit and a large number of updates to existing content.
What can you expect from this new update:
- Audi RS3 LMS Gen2 TCR: The three-time TCR Model of the Year winner joins iRacing’s touring car roster. It includes support for rain and AI, replacing the previous model in official series.
- NASCAR Truck RAM: The latest machine from NASCAR’s national series made its debut in Daytona last month and now joins the rest of the Craftsman Truck Series grid as the fourth manufacturer. It also includes AI support.
- NASCAR Cup Series Chevrolet Camaro ZL1: The Camaro has been updated for 2026 with the ZL1 performance package.
- St. Petersburg Grand Prix: The latest street circuit to arrive in the simulator, shortly after the start of this year’s real INDYCAR season and following the first-ever NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series event held at this track.
- Barber Motorsports Park: A new scan brings one of INDYCAR’s most exciting road courses into the future. This scan replaces the previous one for users who already own the track.
- Visual updates on oval tracks: Lanier, Langley and USA, three of iRacing’s most popular short tracks receive a visual refresh, now featuring the latest graphics.
- New HUD features: Layout profiles, a visual spotter, throttle/brake timeline, and new standalone widgets for session information and rules further refine the interface.
- Car updates: The GTE, TCR, and IMSA Vintage classes have received major revisions, while the Lotus 49 has also been given a performance update. The IMSA Vintage, GTE, and Lotus 49 classes now also support rain.
- Updates for oval tracks: Improvements to rubber buildup and distribution lead the updates in the ‘Oval Refresh’. Formula cars receive performance adjustments on short ovals, while the NASCAR O’Reilly Series cars have had their draft model updated.
