Škoda Auto is preparing to take a major step in its electric strategy with the launch of the new Peaq, a fully electric SUV set to become the brand’s flagship. Based on the Vision 7S concept and built on the Volkswagen Group’s MEB platform, the model will be produced in Mladá Boleslav and is scheduled to arrive in mid-2026, combining space, technology and long-range capability in a large family-oriented package.
Measuring nearly 4.9 meters in length and offering seating for up to seven occupants, the Peaq is the largest and most spacious model ever produced by Škoda. More than just a new product, it plays a key role in the brand’s plan to double its all-electric lineup by 2026, strengthening its position in higher segments.
An electric SUV designed for everyday use

The Peaq has been developed with a strong focus on family use and long-distance travel. A range of over 600 kilometers in higher-spec versions places it among the most competitive options in its class, while fast charging from 10 to 80% in around 28 minutes ensures usability in daily conditions.
The powertrain lineup includes three variants — 60, 90 and 90x — delivering between 150 kW and 220 kW, with the 90x version featuring all-wheel drive and a 0–100 km/h time of just 6.7 seconds.
Space and comfort at the core
Space is a defining characteristic of the Peaq. With a wheelbase close to three meters, the SUV offers generous room across all rows, including the third. Boot capacity reaches up to 890 liters with the rear seats folded, complemented by a front storage compartment.
The interior strongly emphasizes comfort, highlighted by the optional Relax Package. This includes ergonomic massage seats, leg rests, adaptive ambient lighting and an integrated wellness app designed to create a lounge-like experience inside the vehicle.
Another highlight is the premium sound system developed in collaboration with Sonos, delivering an immersive audio experience.
Modern design and next-generation technology

The Peaq introduces an evolution of Škoda’s Modern Solid design language, featuring the illuminated Tech-Deck Face front and Matrix LED headlights with 18 segments. Retractable door handles and aerodynamic wheels further enhance both efficiency and aesthetics.
Inside, the new Android-based infotainment system is paired with a 13.6-inch vertical display and a 10-inch digital instrument cluster. Integration of apps such as Spotify, YouTube and Google Maps reinforces its digital ecosystem.
Functional technology and future vision
Beyond digital features, the Peaq includes practical innovations such as a smartphone-based digital key, bidirectional charging (Vehicle-to-Load and Vehicle-to-Home) and various “Simply Clever” solutions typical of the brand.

It also introduces the largest panoramic roof ever fitted to a Škoda, featuring electrochromic segmentation for customizable light control.
A cornerstone of Škoda’s electric strategy
More than just a new SUV, the Peaq represents a shift in scale for Škoda. By entering the large electric SUV segment with a strong product, the Czech brand signals its ambition to compete with more established players through a blend of space, technology and value.
With its launch scheduled for 2026, the Peaq stands as one of the most important models in Škoda’s electric transition — and a clear indicator of the brand’s intent to move upmarket in Europe.
