LMP3 Class Gains New Depth in Le Mans Ultimate With ELMS Pack 3

The new update introduces the Duqueine and strengthens class competitiveness. Three cars, three distinct approaches and a well-balanced field. Losail provided the perfect stage to assess this evolution.

The arrival of ELMS Pack 3 in Le Mans Ultimate marks an important step for the LMP3 class, with the addition of the Duqueine completing the trio of available models. Alongside the new Barcelona circuit, this update enhances the competitive depth of one of the simulator’s most accessible and popular categories.

With the Ligier and Ginetta already established within the community, the Duqueine brings more than just visual variety — it introduces a distinct driving experience. Despite sharing the same Toyota engine, all three cars behave differently on track, reflecting clear differences in chassis design and overall philosophy.

To evaluate the class balance, testing took place at the Losail circuit in Qatar, featured in the simulator’s weekly events. A flat yet demanding layout, combining fast corners with technical medium-speed sections, offering an ideal environment to highlight each car’s characteristics.

The conclusions are very positive. As seen in other classes, Studio 397 once again delivers a well-executed Balance of Performance. Regardless of the choice — Duqueine, Ginetta or Ligier — all three cars are capable of being competitive, making the final decision largely dependent on driver preference and style.

The Ginetta continues to stand out for its excellent cockpit visibility and balanced, predictable handling, making it a safe choice, especially for single-monitor users. The Duqueine proves to be a sharp and effective option on the front end, while the Ligier remains the most demanding car to master, offering a more complex but ultimately rewarding driving experience.

More than subtle differences, what stands out is the distinct identity of each model. These are not superficial variations, but cars that require different approaches, highlighting the quality of the simulation work.

With this update, the LMP3 class gains a new level of depth within Le Mans Ultimate. And in a simulator already establishing itself as a benchmark for multi-class racing, this evolution further reinforces a strong and promising trajectory.
