Another excellent video from Swedish YouTuber Vataza, once again making a very objective comparison between performance on an Assetto Corsa Rally stage and that of a real driver on the same stage. This time, the Swede attempts to match the pace of the nine-time World Rally Champion. The French driver at the time behind the wheel of the Volkswagen Polo R WRC, and the Swedish virtual driver at the controls of the 2022 Škoda Fabia RS Rally2.
The stage used for this head-to-head is Sisteron–St. Geniez, a classic of the Monte Carlo Rally. This comparison makes perfect sense, as all stages in the Assetto Corsa Rally simulator are laser-scanned, something never done before in this type of content.
